Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Talson initiates a combined project team effort for our approach to quality assurance and quality control activities ensuring that products meet both specified requirements and end-user needs. Effective quality assurance begins with our field inspection and documentation program. Understanding and foreseeing potential challenges is a crucial tool in the delivery of a successful project and mitigating costs. The goals of quality assurance oversight span from, construction inspection, to monitoring contractor production rates, to document conformance to requirements, and early identification and correction of non-conforming work. Practical construction experience and sound engineering judgment, combined with a thorough understanding of project requirements, are the key ingredients in a successful construction inspection program.
Talson will provide competent and qualified personnel from a staff of project managers, resident engineers, and inspectors. Our construction field inspectors thoroughly know applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Talson will perform regular site visits to monitor construction, review submittals, and coordinate with the owner and design professionals to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the contract documents.
Talson will review the contractor’s quality control program for conformance with Quality Control (QC) activities outlined in the contract documents. The QC program will document the tests required, the frequency, documenting, reporting, and scheduling of tests, and review of the manner in which test failures will be managed. The QC plan must identify individuals or subcontractors responsible for the performance of tests, inspections, or other activities.
